Received a call from an Indian sounding man called Daniel claiming to be from the National Do Not Call Register, who are apparently providing a government backed scheme to everyone in our postcode, to stop "nuisance calls for example from India". Offered me a device to block all nuisance calls for a one-off payment of ?89. How ironic that this was clearly a nuisance call/scam from India of they type they are claiming to stop. *NB - this scam is mentioned by the genuine do not call registry here: www.d

Didn't call me by name at the start of the call, and later asked for bank details. This is irrelevant to my satisfaction with BT which is what the call was supposedly about.

SCAM, tried to bully me into a new contract saying my contract was up. Complete lies. would not listen to me, would not let me speak, would not tell me his company, in the end only way to get rid of him was to hang up on him.

SCAM / SPAM Rang by Victoria who asked if I was in a car accident. I got put through to a call centre almost as soon as I picked up. Call centre asked if I had been in an accident (If I 'hadn't', why would I have been put through). The line then went dead after 1 min 13. Rang back and it said I could be charged on the number.
