I picked up the phone to be asked to confirm my name and address. I was informed that this was to send me a cheque for some sort of overpayment. I was also told that the caller was from the UK Financial Services. I asked for clarification about the "overpayment", suspecting a scam, and the phonecall was terminated. The caller had a heavy far Eastern (Oriental) accent and I could hear was a lot of other phone conversations going on in the background. This is obviously some sort of scam.
