I asked who was calling and the caller continued to pressure me into confirming who I was.
Claim to be from Windows. Poor accent, Your computer is corrupted we can sort it out. Please go to your computer. Refused and hung up

Called me several times over the course of a week and when I answered they said it wasn t a sales call but could I tell them if I had taken out any credit cards etc in the past two years. Told him I wasn t going to tell him that kind of info and asked to be removed from his database. He politely said yes and have a good night!
Irrelevant whether you give your number out, as these people just use auto diallers, which take no account of ex directory, TPS etc status.

SCAM - Automated message apparently from HMRC. Asked to press 1 as there was an outstanding warrant in my name and if I did not do this I would be arrested shortly.
Any call from 0203 is suspect as these are usually sham surveys so they can sell your number on to telemarketers which is intended to let them ignore the TPS because you answere...
