Phone call claiming to be from HMRC that i was under investigation for tax fraud and would be arrested if i didn't provide necessary information. SCAM.

This number phoned at 18.40 Sunday. Didn't leave a message. Don't recognise it . Is it a marketing call?

Rang up to check how I was after an accident. A lorry smashed into a car further down the road, missed 2 cars then totalled my car too! They are always friendly and concerned more about the people than the car.
This number called me on my mobile just after a call on my landline from Sigma Red which is a debt collection agency. I also am in dispute with Scottish Power which is supposed to be in the hands of the Ombudsman, I don t think this is a coincidence!

Robot voice claiming to be from HMRC telling me there is tax fraud and if I don't press 1 a warrant will be issued immediately for my arrest!
Fraud -Recorded male voice saying there was a tax fraud claim registered to me and that I should press 1 to proceed. I pressed the little red telephone instead. However as this was a new one to me I felt I should warn others.
