Nuisance call but no one talking or responding when call answered.

Repeated calls. Either put phone down on me without saying anything or on one occasion laughing then putting phone down. Rang number and it was not recognised.

Claimed they were from United Utilities - Seemed to know where I live and what my name was. Just wanted to know if I owned the commercial property below my building, and that’s as it. A bit suspicious, should’ve asked them why they wanted to know.

Seems to be a cold caller, repeatedly calling me throughout the day. Just block the number!

Silent, and kept the line open (at least once) after I tried to hang up.

They called me today about an industrial accident I had. I didn t. When I asked where they were calling from she said Plymouth. I live in Plymouth but judging by other comments, they were calling from Darlington. Asked her for name of company and she said Industrial Workers Office. I gave them an earful and hung up. Keep getting calls from this number but no message left. Now it is showing up in my mobile phone bill as me having called them when I don't know who it is. Very weird.

this number calls 2 to 3 times a day.they said they from rspca asking for money an want you to give them money every month.

Sick of this no harassing several times a month.Theyve been politely told to take us off their data base,& reminded they shouldn t even have our ex directory/TPS registered no.when never opted in for any info to be received this way It s 2017 how is this practice still going on?! Other times it s silence on the other end of phone.This no is a serial harrasser-how are they still in existence?!

A new number for me and also, of course, unrecognised. Thus Call Blocker again came to the fore and is now going to be permanently blocked.

Called our TPS registered line. Burst of noise/music after we picked up, followed by silence then " Ello! Ow are yew?" from a caller who then immediately asked to speak to "The owner". Identified himself as "Zane" from "XLM" when asked, and then immediately launched into a scripted sales pitch. Told him to f***-off, and hung up while he was still yapping.

have been getting these calls regularly, once daily for several weeks. I usually ignore the call when my caller display shows this number. Last week I rang 1471 for the hell of it and got a recorded message -your wine club tried to contact you. I am actually a Laithwaites member and use them when I want to order wine. These calls seem to be part of a wider push to bring in more sales. However the recorded message also gives you an other number to ring if you wish not to receive further calls. This is 0800 6

Vanquis Bank are sneaky and use lots of different telephone numbers to trick you into answering. For your convenience, I have listed many of the telephone numbers that they use below. If you answer calls from these numbers you may be charged for Debt Management so buy a BT8500 and stop all of these calls easily. Concerned about this number but this positive (or mitigating) experience to mention. 02036973209 had called me and I either did not answer or hung up on unwanted call. Then I Mistakenly used the no. for texts to my singing tutor (who had also first rung at same sort of time). I have had NO PROBLEMS with the caller on 02036973209. Did not text back and have not been ringing again.
