I called Rossendale earlier today after receiving a letter from them about an account I already have an agreement with between my self & my husband and the original company (Utd Utilities). Not only was the name incorrect on their letter but the woman we spoke to was very unhelpful and the call ended with her saying that although we were paying money owed already to UU we would continue to receive letters from Rossendale telling us to pay them instead (she also stated that it was fine that we were paying UU
Claimed to have my credit record and trying to get me to agree to go into an IVA. Asked me how much debt I had, when I said "you should know if you have my credit record" he hung up.
