Received the following text from this number at 03:50:- "Keith attempted to deliver your parcel today but no one was home. Reschedule a new delivery date, via......" There was then a link supposedly to postoffice-delivery. Haven't found any reports on this number but highly suspect, given the time of the text and the weblink having a ".com" ending, not ".co.uk". SCAM First of all said they were from Windows, wanted me to turn on my computer so they could stop the hackers who had been trying to get my personal information. They said if I didn't turn on the computer now they would block everything, stop it from working and the hackers would use my information to get access to my accounts. When I asked them to speak to someone in the house who works in IT security they rang off quickly.

I chose my existing provider from a comparison website and don't need any "advice" to renew with them. Obviously, if you keep change providers any pre-existing medical conditions won't be covered. You can supposedly email compliance@activequote.com to update your preferences. I haven't tried it yet, but it should stop the calls.

HMRC scam
Call center fed up with this number calling so I answered. Says they were from triage Housing about cavity wall insulation that we had and they can get us compensation. Told them we didn't have it so he progressed to to say the Government site said we did and how did i know that we didn't and they weren't trying to sell anything. I told them it was newly renovated and remove me from their calling list or I would report as a nuisance call. He hung up

Researching this number I suspect it to be scammers who purport to work for Insulate Scotland. They claim to require access to your loft to inspect the air quality and insulation. Already on my blocked list after calling me a few times. SCAM

SCAM Said he was from O2 but an Indian scam call
They said they were from HMRC. That I was due a refund due to my tax on a ppi claim. I have never claimed on a ppi form. I asked them to put the information in the post, they declined saying they don’t use the post. I then said we’ll send me an email and if you are HMRC you will have my email address. They then said if I changed my mind to phone them. Very strange
