scammed £430 quid off us when we thought they were genuine (scumbags)
@5.04pm. I didn t answer but message left on my answerphone. "This is to inform you HMRC s filing a law suit against you. Press 1 immediately to speak to your case officer. Thank you." Uses a computer-generated voice. You can tell from the timbre of the voice and the unnatural spacing of words. An attempted scam. Don t answer them. The Manchester-like code is probably spoofed and the call is by VOIP and originates overseas.
