I received a phone call from this number. I know nobody who lives in London. When I said hello and asked who I am speaking to, nobody replied and they stated on the line for a few seconds before ending the call. I called the number back, the phone just ringsand then goes to Sky voice messaging service.
Scam call playing a badly constructed recorded message that seems to have been stitched together from fragments of other recorded messages and which pretends to be from BT. It claims that "your broadband will be disconnected" because "someone is access [sic] your security setting". It then invites you to press 1 to speak to BT or 2 to have the broadband disconnected. We ve had a few of these calls on different lines recently (including lines with no associated broadband service 8) ). Most likely
2 x Missed calls. No messages left but one of a number of such calls received daily during Lockdown presumably hoping that because of my age I'm vulnerable to their schemes/scams. Never answer unrecognised numbers as they can always leave a message if it's importnat!

Called regarding a car accident I ve never had. Company claims to be called Chase Alexander but a search with Companies House shows this business to be dissolved

This was an automated mans voice claiming to be some kind of fraud check saying there was unauthorised payments from my amazon account. Did not say who they were. Did not believe them so I hung up. No answer of any kind when phoned the number back. Immediately suspected a scam .
I didn t answer. no other details on this site!

Domestic and General but no one there when answered. I called back and given the message "Call 0800 458 4611 to get your name taken off their list" - did so I hope it works !!
