Told me about a car accident and as I was sitting waiting on my daughter and little baby to join me at a hospital appointment in London and as it was 020 I knew it was a London number that was calling me. I was so shocked I almost fainted. This is horrible abuse and I think something should be done about it and fast.

Thin number called while I was on the line talking to someone else. When, after finishing my call, I checked who had called me and, after checking this site, did a ring back (i.e. I used the number automatically held in the system) the response I got was that the number was not recognised!

Had missed call so called back who told me they are investigating for tax fraud, I Said that’s impossible ! He thenput phone down on me. Quite scary though if they contact someone who’s elderly or vulnerable and they fall for this.
