This is a scam. They are saying they are from BT, however the following is true (as I worked for BT for 36 years). 1 - BT do not ring you on a mobile number (unless and engineer has an appointment at your house that you know about). 2 - The phone is registered to Vodaphone, BT do not use any other networks for their own use. 3 - He could not give me my BT account number. 4 - He said he was from Millenium City London, this mobile number is located in Manchester! SCAM unwanted not known to me phone states possible fraudulent
I received a call which disconnected when I answered. I dialled back, there was an unusual ringtone before it disconnected. Appears to be some kind of spam.
Call received today (11 Jan) saying from they were from Amazon and did I wish to continue with my Prime subscription or cancel it. Simply responded by asking 'why would you as that'. No response, they disconnected the call.
Hung up when i answered the phone.
It was a Tesco delivery driver.

SCAM says post office has my parcel pay delivery charges. Not on your life.
Automated call saying I will be charged £79.99 by amazon to continue using their website. Has to be a scam or someone's phone has been hacked

This phone number along with multiple other UK numbers call my Canadian phone number HUNDREDS of times throughout the day for someone I don't know. They refuse to stop calling me.

SCAM Received on 9th September 2024 claiming to be from our local council regarding damp and mold. Our home is owned by a large social landlord and the person could not say who our landlord was. Our landlord said it was a scam. Our landlord never does anything out of hours! Especially a Saturday. Hope this helps.
They called claiming to be Microsoft who had detected problems on my computer. I asked them for the 6 digit problem code which the operator didn't understand so I asked her to read out the error message. When she refused I decided it was a scam and hung up.
