SCAM! Be careful, I was called with an offer from ‘Currys Carphonewarehouse’ to reduce my mobile sim cost while upgrading the data and minutes allowance and the scammers already had a lot of my personal information including the monthly cost of my current sim plan. The dodgy email account they sent me a confirmation email from was info@currysales.co.uk. They also called me on 07842778977, 07843577187 & 07848628655. Another landline number associated with the scammers is 02034042911.

This man called me and asked to speak to a woman who had previously held this number. I explained that this number had not been used by her for 5 years. (She didn't live in our house, but the number was last used by her and re-allocated to us by the phone company) Man got abusive, told me I was lying and that I had behaved illegally for not updating my number?! He spoke over me and so I told him to 'go away' or words to that affect. He put the phone down.

As previous comment, was told they had secured me a loan for £3k, I paid £80 by UKASH voucher and it wasn t transferred into my account, then I needed to pay £195 for the tax on it which I also did via UKASH and we re still waiting. Do not trust this number, they are clearly dodgy.
