Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. Just had a call from this number. The caller said their name was Jerry and claimed to be calling from BT Open Reach. They asked me how I was. When I asked them what they wanted they shouted "I don't want anything! My name is Jerry and I asked you,'how are you'?" I hung up.

Considered as a scam call. Automated message speaks of unusual activity on your Bank Account, eg a £200 purchase from Amazon not thought to be made by you and a £1,000 transaction from abroad. Hang up. Do not "press 1" or any other numbers. Ring your Bank if you feel you need to.
