This number called me in today on my landline at 12:45. I answered, they hung up. I rang back, it rang then disconnected. I live in Scotland, the number is from York. I used my mobile to call, same result. What was the point of the call if they have no intention of communicating. There is a point but I am left wondering what!

SCAM - used wrong name, claimed to have file about a traffic accident within the last twelve months.
Call this morning. Allegedly from Microsoft. Said my computer had been hacked in USA and illegal purchases being made.When challenged he requested I open up computer so he could prove he was from Microsoft. When I declined he said my computer would be “blocked”

Scam they ring everyday at least three times a day Really cheesed off with them I've told them several times to stop calling me but no they still call I have blocked them but that doesn't stop them They say they are calling from citizens advise I don't know what else they want to say as I normally hang up Be careful I'm sure they are after your personal info
