Had 2 calls from this number claiming that there was a tax fraud investigation involving my name and telling me to press number 1 on my keypad to speak to the officer dealing with my case. Obviously I did no such thing and so have no idea what sort of scam is being operated or what possible benefit there could be to anyone had I actually complied with the request. I've now blacklisted this number on my phone.

If receiving this call on an iPhone it says it is coming from Spain, I called the number on my Tesco credit card to ask if this was a phishing call and they reassured me that it was not. Call was from Tesco Credit Card department. If in doubt call the number on the back of your card. Ended up talking to a very helpful and informative member of staff. Not a nuisance at all.
