The telecoms company Gamma Telecom Holdings Ltd That sold this number also supply a list of phone numbers to call. You are on that list if this number phoned you. A girl called me from 01792764700 first. Then passed me onto 01792764700. I told them I have doubt about the call because the girl got my union number wrong by 1 digit and I said I would call them in the office instead. They haven t called me since a week ago. I call the first number, there was no ring tone. The second number did put me thro to an operator but I hung up. I find it a bit suspicious as they claimed to be calling on behalf of the union Unite. I am yet to find their website and already contacte

SCAM Called me at around 1100 hrs (Tue) on 27.7.2021 on my UK landline. Pre-recorded message read out by a lady, claiming that there has been some illegal activity going on with my internet, unless I contact them (e.g. by pressing '1' for .....'2' for .....) immediately, my internet will be shut down within the next 24-48 hrs. I just hanged up.

This company called offering cheaper gas and electric. Played along with them for a bit and he asked who our current supplier is. Told him I was not prepared to give him that information. Could not get the guy off the phone. Told him multiple times I was not interested in anything he had to offer. He would not give up! In the end just left the phone on the counter until he got fed up!
