Recorded message claiming to be from Visa Mastercard saying that a large oversea payment had been made on my card. Obvious scam, no details of card or bank provided. Number now blocked & reported.
Automated message about PPI, with the usual invitation to opt out by pressing a number on the keypad, which never stops the calls.
I’m not sure if it’s a scam as I didn’t have a in depth convo with the caller. She said she was calling regarding a position - assistant accountant I applied at Wellington Management. I didn’t apply for roles at that company but cannot remember what it is as it’s been three months since. It could be a scam or I could missed a good chance. I tried to call back but the line is always busy.
