SCAM - claims to be HMRC investigating you for tax evasion - do not give them any information. As I was suspicuious from the start, as a test I gave them fictional name, postcode etc., and after they told me they have the file on me in front of them, I knew it could not be true HMRC

Scam I believe this was a scam call as the female with an Australian accent said due to covid they were not sending people out to read meters so could I give her the reading. While this would not have been an issue I don't have readings to give I am on a payment meter through a kay or card system. My readings are automatically done so beware.

Caller from Chesterfield. on't know anybody from there so may be an error. Have blocked them just in case.
The caller purported to be from a credit rating company about my debts and credit worthiness. I explained I had no debts and he became very abusive, refusing to let me talk to a supervisor and shouting down the phone. VERY unpleasant.
