Asian man introduced himself as Daniel and knew my name, he told me that I have government debts that I repay each month which is untrue. At this point I guessed he was some type of scammer so I said goodbye and hung up.
Scam. Strong Indian accent claiming to be from BT saying there are issues with my broadband. Do not engage. Wanted to have remote access to my computer. Do not engage - hang up!
Be aware, the line is for shared costs, DO NOT call them back. Very similar numbers are already reported with life insurance, PPI, pensions - mostly scam to gain your personal info. I would recommend to block this number. Does someone have possitive experience with this one?
