He then gave the usual speel about my internet connection was faulty and he needed to connect to my PC. I then said " please contact our IT department if there is a problem" He said "oh is this a business numbers" I said "yes I told you at the very beginning it was a business number" Guess what he hung up... Do not entertain t"

"A man with a heavy accent called me telling me he was from HMRC and that I was owed a tax rebate of £1266 then proceeded to hang up when I asked him to verify who he was. Obvious scam, HMRC will only send confidential information via post."

"Automated message from them saying they were paragon about the accident I was involved where I was innocent. I didn't say anything and as it is automated it just hangs up. Added to my blacklist. With GDPR they shouldn't be calling now. If you do end up speaking to someone quite GDPR at them and then see how quickly they want to speak to you. They have to divulge now where they got your number from."
