Saying they were bt, going to cut off my broadband
They will never stop calling you for a lifetime should you answer their call once. That is so annoying. I was at some point considering their services, but not after that phone call harassment which never ends. This is a very unpleasant experience. Don t pick up their calls ever. That s my sincere advice to you. Linode is cheaper and faster anyway!
Put my mobile next to TV and she soon hung up. I don t mind they are paying for the call. TV sound seems quite effective with most unwanted callers.

Unsolicited call hung up when asked ti identify herself
SCAM Got a call on our virgin media fibre phone line. Supposedly from "Virgin Media" saying they have noticed some faults on the line. They asked if I could go to a computer to "run some checks". Smelling a rat I asked if I could use my smartphone instead. They responded "No it must be a computer". I asked if they could tell me my Virgin Media customer account number to verify themselves..... Line went dead. Stay vigilant folks!
