I think this is a scam. It sent a text message that purported to come from Halifax Bank saying that my device had been registered for online banking and asking me to click on the link if it was not me. I think it was phishing.
I just got a call from this number. It was a man with an Indian accent offering me a ?3000 loan. He required me to pay a few over the phone so I said I m not interested, to which he replied "are you interested in my big thick c*** up your a*** instead", then laughed and hung up. Charming way to treat potential customers.
