Probably telemarketing, but I couldn't understand them properly but I got the gist that I was going to be asked personal information. I never give that information when it is an unsolicited call.

This comes up as a Liverpool number .of is a company dealing with PPI. Very polite young man who was straight to the point regarding what the call was for. After asking a few questions, the usual ones about whether I d had any loans, credit cards, catalogues etc, he said he would get the system updated so that they didn t call again. Just about the most polite call I ve ever had regarding PPI!!

I went through the whole process with SMS legal alias Scarlet services etc... Their sales tactics were admittedly very good and it takes a lot to get me to listen and go for it. I was generally happy to proceed but then got very cautious when so far in to the process they asked for ?495 of my credit card and they agreed it was a holding fee . this number has called several times a day for about 2 weeks, usually a silent call but today an Asian man called Jack claiming to be from TPS calling about nuisance calls!! he hung up on me in the end
