The caller said my Sky and tv equipment insurance had expired. Don’t have any. When l asked what he wanted me to do he said renew it. I asked again for whom he was calling - repeated the above. I said l wasn’t familiar with that and asked in whose name was the insurance at which point he rang off.SCAM

Call to my mobile. Caller didn’t identify himself, asked for someone I don’t know. I’ve had multiple calls from other numbers asking for the same person regarding timeshare claims so assume it is more of the same.

When I called the number back a prerecorded message said that I had been "contacted by an independent market research company in my area"

Recorde message about debt financing, undoubtedly a scam
asked the name of the firm and they told me it was Goodman Scott. Can t find them on the web or companies house so this must be a standard reply. Was told the number comes from various insurance companies.
I was contacted by these people and when I pointed out that my number was registered with the TPS I was told this it was not a sales call but an advisory call! I have made a written complaint pointing out that they are breaking the Claims Management Regulation rules and that I will be reporting them to the Regulator. I have also reported them to the ICO.
