Caller claimed to be from Microsoft, hung up when I asked if he was directly employed by Microsoft. Scam call, beware,
SCAM - On answer a strident recorded message tells you that "A criminal tax fraud case has been lodged against you". I didn't bother listening to the full message - I heard enough to know it was a pathetic criminal trying to scare people into handing them either personal data or money. Just done some research on this number 01242-807931.They have harassed my my mum a few times including today.The day after she came out of hospital.Mum is 70 and i m furious.Cannot find the name of the company using this number.But the company who provide this number are MAGRATHEA telecommunications ltd.5 Commercial Park Brunel Road Theale Berkshire.0845 004 0040.Magrathea are known providers of fraud emails (lottery wins etc)and deceptive evasive numbers.The company making the calls are unknown but found s
