Also got a call from this number and since I have a spam blocking app installed on my mobile, it cut the call. I did purchase an item from Appliances Online about a year ago who were then trying to flog me all sorts of warranty subscriptions. The appliance is still going strong,touch wood!
SCAM Apparently you get charged for recieving texts from this number. Not sure how it works but seem to have been charged £1.50 for each text they sent. Don't even know what the texts were I had obviously thought they were rubbish and deleted them!

Claims they are from Talk Talk asking about my internet connection, saying there is a problem on the line. But there isn't.

Some scammers need putting in an asylum for all the stupidity that they display. In this case, why would 'O2' want your bank details to renew a contract when it should...
A man calling himself Stuart called me and gave this telephone number as a contact for customer services of Sapphire Magazine. He said he was calling in response to a survey I had recently completed which is possible as I did one only yesterday. He had all my name and address, asked me for £1 on credit or debit card and said I would receive 2 x £10 petrol vouchers and a trial of the magazine. I was at work, trying to get him off the phone - I should have put the phone down - I wish I had as I m now wonder

SCAM : Woman called about my Microsoft account. Asked for her number [already could see her number on our phone] so that I could phone the fraud squad. She said "very good" and immediately put the phone down.
Just do not answer the phone at this number! That s cheating and rotate the way they need it. Very dangerous.
