SCAM Comes up on a PC as a Microsoft Help desk number, as part of a common scam. A window pops up on your PC, claiming you have viruses on your PC, and your personal data, banking data, etc is at risk. It wants you to call this number, so Microsoft staff can help you fix your PC. Don't fall for it, this is NOT Microsoft! These are scammers who want you to download software, which will give them access to your PC and all your personal data. 07397654873 - claiming to be tax fraud from HMRC - asks to hit #1 on phone to connect - i didn't as seems very unlikely if it was real i would have an automated call - so cant tell you what happens when you click #1 but i would advise against it

Scam call asking for details of my lawyer, for tax default. Claimed to have written to me and wanted details from me. I didn t give them any of my details, they said because I wouldn t give them my information the police would be round my house in a couple of hours to arrest me. Person on the phone did not speak very good English as was definitely not from the HMRC.
Rang off when answering machine said hello. Does not accept incoming calls . Do not answer this call.
