This is an automated call claiming to be coming from HMRC. They urge you to call them back because of your National Insurance number. I think this is a fraud and a scam! Be careful
Recorded message saying HMRC are going to issued an arrest warrant, an obvious scam so I slammed the phone down. But they are persistent and they repeated the call 4 times to date. I assumed it was a fake caller i.d. as most of them are but when I dialled the number there was a ring tone but it didn’t answer.
Received a call from this number this afternoon. Chap with a Scottish accent. Claimed to be from Invest Scotland and then stated that according to their records I had had cavity wall/loft insulation carried out in the last few years and also had windows that were more than 10 years old. Asked how he had got the information and he said from the national builders register. Told him that his information was incorrect and this property was a Glasgow Housing Association property (it isn t). On being told th

Call was automated. Saying not to ignore and giving me a case number. Was told to press a number to speak to one of the officials in charge of my case. Non compliance will lead to more trouble.
After reading the comments I decided to check my credit card online just for peace of mind and I had got fraudulent activity on my credit card. However I did not use the number they called on or the number they left I called using the number on my statement. This was because I couldn t fully understand what they said on the message they had left. After speaking to them I then discovered they had tried to make further payments today which was what has alerted them to the activity. All I say is if you do miss
Called a place of business with an automated message stating that it was advantis calling but all their advisers were busy and to call back (!!) when less busy. Then left a telephone number to call which i didn t catch as said too fast. This is place of business so i am unsure why we would be getting such calls. Do not ring back.
Silent answer phone message wasting my time and money.....
Got a call from the number and when answered the person hung up without saying anything.
