I answered the phone to get a recorded message 'from BT' saying my land line and internet were about to be disconnected. As I don't have a landline or BT internet I hung up. According to Google BT never make such calls.

Same Dyson service scam. Rang and asked about our Dyson, complimented on still using it after all these years then started to offer a service. Having seen this scam on Watchdog I told him no several times before he slammed the phone down. Next time I will string them along a long as possible!
Answer, but remains silent for some time, and then hangs up.
Couldn t understand caller. Some kind of survey. Told caller not interested & hung up. They called straight back & wasn t bothered when told registered with TPS.
SCAM Fake police calling about an apparent warrant for arrest. Avoid.
Called by Christine, claiming to be from Virgin Media Technical Department. Had received notification from the internet [that I was emitting illegal traffic]. Asked had I noticed that my internet connection starts and stops. Call was cut off early.
I had a call from 02084421145 this morning 28/02/2020. It was a recorded message telling me that Amazon Prime was going to take £79 out of my bank account for the annual membership fee. It said if I did not agree then I should press 1 on my phone keypad. I ended the call. I am not an Amazon Prime member!
