I tried to find out how they got my number and when I was trying to confirm exactly who they were by asking for an e-mail and postal address she hang up.

They were trying to say they were from HMRC tax but that's definetly not them as you never get a phone call from them usually letters and there number is usually 0800 . This is so annoying as get a lot of these calls and always different things you get from the people .

Recorded message saying they are MMF Ltd some debt recovery company. They are going to be calling at my house unannounced for recovery. To avoid the embarrassment ring them back. I don t have any debt, but they keep ringing.. Sounds like a scam to me..
