left message on mobile claiming to be amazon checking on large purchase made from account wanting me to contact with authorisation code- called them back several times - from diff telephone no, and from withheld no, they kept hanging up on me when they realised I hadnt been taken in by their scam.. so i kept on calling them back - just to annoy them.. got to the point they hung up. knew was scam as same person answered the phone every time, anyone whos phone amazon , knows you NEVER get the same person :D

Completely indecipherable Pakistani accent so I have no idea what the call was about so I just hung up, also call was made to an UNLISTED number so I would list the caller as DANGEROUS and advise anyone getting a call from this number to ignore it

At 8.20am I answered my land line thinking it must be important and was a local number. It was a automated message saying ‘thank you for your payment of £299 for anti virus, if any problems please call our free phone number’ The number I’m afraid I didn’t get and it didn’t say any company either. I’m sure this is a scam of some sort that they catch you when you call to complain so very much aimed at the trusting, naive or elderly.

I was called by 01131132840 today 15/12/14, Indian sounding lady, telling me she has been tracking my use an can see my Computer has various problems, virus etc and that she can help me, usual rubbish. knowing that she was going to try and access my PC to either download virus or steal my personal info I asked her sarcasticaly do u need to remotely access my computer?! Non stop calls since last Wednesday, sometimes three times a day. I don?t know anyone from Scotland and I?m not signed up to any sort of company in Scotland. I very rarely give out my number to people who aren?t family, so I?m very confused as to how the ?company? has my information. It?s definitely a dodgey number by all accounts.
