They are calling about 2 or 3 times a day. I have blocked them on my phone but I still have to clear the calls list. They just dont give up. It's a Dundee call centre

Silent call. Annoying.
I said hello, they waited a good 3 seconds before playing an automated message saying they were from the national crime agency. I hung up at this point as the NCA will always be a person on the other end.

Some random agency contacted me from this number. They started the call with the usual "Good afternoon, I m xxxx is that surname". I sent them away with a flea in their ear as they didn t understand how impolite it is to call someone by their surname only (not even a Mr). If they can t get my name correct then how can I trust them to get me some business and/or pay invoices etc.

Call center/Scam? Number comes up as INTERNATIONAL. Answered this time and caller said "Hi, this is Chris, I am the energy adviser for your area and I assume you are the homeowner. When I said why do you assume that he disconnected the call.
Message left on answer phone......An American accent (female) Some is trying to use your card to the value of thirteen hundred. This is not your normal spending range. If this is correct please reply yes if it is not please reply no. Two calls today. Bank and card company checked, no such action attempted.
