Phoned elderly widow, saying v important that she calls the number back. She or a solicitor must call. Claiming to be HMRC and finished call with reiterating the need for call back, 'goodbye and take care' HMRC does not do this, they will contact via letter. Its a scam of some sort but frightening for recipient.

An electronic sounding voice claiming to be BT saying that my internet connection was compromised and saying I should ring a number. At that point I hung up. Pretty sure it was a scam.

Line for shared costs, there are more similar numbers reported (just last 2 or 3 digits alternated) - so I assume this should be the same call centre. This seems to be some good working money trap, similar numbers are reported as robocalls, fake wins, scam offers (in most cases some financial offers). For sure some general call centre. I recommend to block the whole 8439418xxx range... People did someone answer this number?
