SCAM called from 'Amazon' and when I said I didn't have computer, started asking how much I had in my bank account. Must have decided I wasnt worth the effort when I would give that info and kept asking why 'Amazon' needed to know bank balance to stop the payment
Got letter from these people LCS, saying they were acting on behalf of HMRC and I owed them around £256.45p...something like that...I believed them because I do owe ...
Reports on other sites suggest it s the old "your recent car accident" scam.
