Fraud
Fraud: treathning about losing Insurance Number thru prosecution if not answering and speaking to an operator. Once you are thru a very rough female voice with American accent is repeatedly (since I don't say a word) asking to identify yourself. Calling back the number doesn't work. Location origin of the call is supposed to be central London but I very much doubt it.

Telemarketing - Called about miss sold renewable products, i do not have any. Very polite but obviously cold calling.
Foreign person saying from telephone preference service that she needed to update my details to stop unwanted calls but she asked for card details and this is a free service so I hung up.

Fraudulent, aggressive cold-callers ringing people and pretending to be calling from StepChange Debt Charity to get you to take out an IVA to pay off your debts. This is NOT StepChange and these people are scammers - BLOCK IMMEDIATELY!
Over the last two weeks there have been a number of High Wycombe calls, which are trying to con you about Amazon prime, silence, or a annoying hiss. This particular call is an annoying hiss. I have collected about 16 numbers in this time period of the same ilk.

They claim to be from Vodafone but I have just completed a 4 day marathon of calls and emails to Vodafone, they picked up the tab, and they have assured me that it is NOT Vodafone. I have contacted the telephone ombudsman and Rotherham police about this number, I ll keep you posted!
