I don't answer calls from numbers I don't know, just look them up like this and see the comments after. Save yourself getting wound up by these idiots. I once had a phonecall from these "We've heard you've recently been in an accident" so I said yeah I was parachuting and as I was coming in to land I went through the windscreen of a lorry. Sounds like a robot call from a bank anti fraud call. That's why I looked the number up. Since the number hasn't come up on search I can. Only assume its a scam. Anybody else had a call like this? It seems very real
I'm 100% sure this is a scam call, trying to induce fear and a fast response.

Fraud: recorded massage telling me that I would be charged for an account that I don't have and have never had, and maybe never will have. Hung up.
Fraud SPAM SCAM This number is being used as a scam number.
Fraud SCAM Got a call from this number, 21/02/2024 at 16:41. Scam caller claiming to be carphone warehouse, which I have no account or dealings with. The people on the other end were talking together unaudibly for at least 30 seconds before some lady spoke through the phone claiming to be carphone warehouse, which she called ‘carphone company’. Hang up and block this number immediately.
SCAM When I picked up the phone, there was a silence on the other end. Then, the automated message saying its HMRC calling about a tax rebate..
Fraud
Relentless calling had 5 calls today alone from this number!
There was a recorded announcement of two misuses of my credit card (one of them Tesco). No mention of who was calling. A recorded announcement asked me to "press 2 and hold" to speak to customer service. A male voice with a strong foreign accent then asked me for my personal details. When asked what bank he was from the phone went dead.
SCAM
This call - 01582766507 - at 8.15am this morning was from Microsoft ringing to tell me their system had picked up that my computer was being targeted. I hung up.
ANOTHER silent scam call! I know it's a scam because I answered the 1st one.

Just got a call from a so-called O2 representative with a clear Asian accent. They asked me to confirm my billing amount. As a precaution, I ended the call and decided to report this as a potential scam. Stay vigilant, folks!
Defenitly a fraud, asked me to give them OTP number - Scam. Asked to give me there number so that I can call back, she disconnected.
