Finally not living in fear of legal action by my creditors!!! Fast efficient service.
We were awaiting a phone call from our GP. This number rang and when we called back it said there would be a charge to connect if we dialled 3. The number was dead!!! We can only hope we have not been charged.
Scam
SCAM - phoned my elderly mother at 7 in the evening to tell her she had 'invoices unpaid'. The caller didn't identify the alleged company, or provide any details about the so-called unpaid invoices. As I deal with my mother's financial affairs, I know she doesn't owe any money to anybody. Hard block.
SCAM
Received a text saying my Apple wallet has been compromised and frozen, along with a link to follow to ‘rectify the situation’ Assuming this is a scam account and that the link will ask for bank and personal details etc

Claim they are from British Gas line is very bad hissing and static Could hardly hear them From what I could make out they stated they could save me money on bills But couldnt hear the rest All other calls I make to family and friends are fine and clear So I suspect the call originates outside of the UK and routes through a system in this country which explains the poor line quality
called twice didn t leave a message so I will ignore
Called on our landline. Recorded message from Bank Security (didn't bother to say which bank). Apparently 2 transactions on my card (which one?!) £300 to Amazon and ..... I gave up at this point as it's obviously a scam. All our banks are based elsewhere so wouldn't phone from a local number and have mobile phones as first contact. Our number is recorded on Telephone Preference service but that doesn't seem to make any difference
