Miss No idea who. Not Crewe phone number. Is Crewe area code, spoofed number. I ignored call. No voice message left. No text or email received either. Similar numbers have called before and I don't answer as end numbers after 01270 are not from within Crewe itself. I know as in Crewe myself. These are spoofed numbers calling landlines and mobiles in hope of catching people out if they know someone from Crewe and surrounding local towns that also use 01270 area code. If important a voicemail/text/email would
no reason for this number to be calling me then hanging up annoying and frightening to others living with me
Fraud SCAM
I picked up and it was silent. Hung up after around 10 seconds. Silent call
SCAM-wanted me to listen and answer questions - scam wouldn't say where he was from
SCAM Running the old drivreay scam. Very persistent.
Fraud SCAM SPAM Called the number back. A lady answered from what sounded like a call centre. She said I had a missed call and that they called by accident and she hung up. Called back again and my phone calls kept getting cut off. Avoid number at all costs
Scammer asking for home details
Is 100% definitely DVLA. The number was quoted at the top of a letter from them which was sent with the returned application for renewal of my licence as I hadn't filled in all the required information.
Supposedly Peter Stokes from Relief energy - calling all homeowners in my postcode area because we're paying the highest energy prices. This is a BOT, asks questions, pauses and then goes on to the next question regardless of whether you have answered and what you have said - I just said 'TPS' in case it's a genuine company and there was someone picking up the answers, but I'm pretty sure it's a scam as others think and I can't trace a company by this name, so I will now report it to Action Fraud Phishing.
Contacted me through Whats App, the message was.. "Large-scale recycling of USDT (No idea what that is?) The price is high, I will pay you first. There is no Risk. Please Click the link to contact me: wa.me/447478868892". I'm suspecting that this is some Bitcoin scam? Don't visit the site, could be a virus or something? Just to warn people, be cautious of this number.. +55 967 426 733
