Seems to be used for some telemarketing call center - this range of numbers 17089074xx (common feature, they use more numbers of the same range) is mostly reported with PPI, Accident claims, insurance marketing. I have a call blocker which cuts off scammers or unsolcited calls but this number calls nearly every 2 days but we are not disturbed as our call blocker does not let it through. If this was a genuine firm they would leave a message on the anwering maching.
