I was called at about 11.35 am today with a recorded message saying that my card had been used to pay £700+ on Amazon and £2000 international money transfer, asking me to press 1 to speak to someone, which I did not do. I strongly suspect that this is a scam.
Caller with Indian accent said he was from Amazon and was calling about a purchase my wife had supposedly made for an Iphone 11, he said his name was Daniel Smith when I asked. This number, an automated woman's voice, called my landline today and purported to be the bank saying that they're checking a £600 payment from my bank account to somewhere abroad. The usual crap is then given re pressing 1 or 2 depending on how you want to proceed. Complete load of rubbish. I get regular calls from a variety of numbers all exactly the same. They want shooting! Bloody nuisance.

It said dear Jan, You have an appointment on 13/01/23 at Homerton Hospital reply yes 1642 to confirm attendance, rebook 1642, and text cancel 1642 if the appointment is no longer needed. missed appointments cost NHS £160. Thanks for your support. It is the second time I received this message on my mobile to confirm my appointment. I will be phoning Homerton Hospital on the 9th of January 2023 referring to this and other things.
Watch out this company is someone who is trying to get your address but first say they are shell energy but turns out be a company called toogles
