SCAM - some debt advise when i told him to remove my number as i hadnt authorised him having it and GDPR he turned very rude.

This landline rang us this morning with a recorded message trying to tell us our Amazon account had been hacked. Obviously ignore as all our accounts are in order. Clearly a scammer, more worrying that it is on a local landline!
SCAM called with an automated message saying that it's from the tax office and I owe tax and to prevent going to jail that I needed to press 1 to answer them. I haven't worked in over 20years so I don't pay tax so not even the smallest possibility that I would owe any. Also the tax office would never contact you by phone. Just and scam to steal money. Why don't they get a proper job.
This phone number 01142340743 says it is your bank and someone has used your PIN number. Tell you to press a number to speak to your bank.

SCAM FRAUD Scammer claiming to be from Starling. He will try to get you to approve a high value transaction, he tried £751. I used him to check if my info actually was leaked and then I rejected the transaction and cancelled my card lol. Pretty funny call, although dangerous to those who aren’t very IT literate. I hope the lad is able to find a job soon so he can stop the scams, assuming he actually wants to stop…

Fraud, SCAM, PHISHING 07440008657 claims to be from HMRC in an automated american accent. I pressed 1 to find out more and spoke to a human (with a fake American accent) who immediately asked for my name and postcode. They hung up when I politely said no.

I believe an AI automated scam system, that responds to your response. I think you are talking to a computer generated voice, I hear "Hi this is John from the driveway company" or close on. Serious scam, I get repeated calls daily.

As this is the code where we live, answered the first call - no immediate response but after a few seconds, over a very crackly line, what sounded like a well spoken middle aged white lady, said something along the lines of 'suspicious transactions on my account, one for £300 odd & the other for £1,400 odd & I must do certain things at which point I hung up. A lady with an English accent informed my that there has been a report identifying loft insulation materials as hazardous, and that everybody is entitled to a free survey. I explained that my property didn't fit her survey expectations and he apologised for bothering me and hung up. As a guess, anyone who opts for a survey will be told that any existing insulation is deadly and it will be removed at an exorbitant cost, but as I don't know that for certain I am only labelling this call as annoying.
