I asked where she had got details from and was told it was from an 'opt-in provider' and when I asked for more details on who would be providing information on something that had not happened she hung up. Another pain in the arse call about an accident. I asked them where they'd got the number and was told that it was "publicly available from a list of people who'd had accidents". In that case, I said, why are you asking me if I've had an accident? That obviously wasn't in their script as they hung up. Usually I enjoy winding cold callers up a bit but today it just irritated me.
