Assume this must have been a miss-dial because we have never dealt with them & they hung up as we answered.

A Google search suggests that it might be to do with personal alarms, this is the number that calls the people listed as emergency contacts for the person.

Keep getting calls from this number but when I answer no one is there. Have tried to call back but again no one answers and the ringing tone is not a UK one. Avoid and block this number.

Scottish man called and asked for me by name, when I asked what it was concerning he sighed and sounded as if I'd called and bothered him - idiot

Woman phoned asking if I was Miss (my girlfriend s name) I m not the butchest of guys but I don t sound like a woman.... Very heavily accented Indian accent, also appalling sound quality with lots of noise in the background. When I asked who it was from, she mumbled something about PPI at which point I put the phone down.

1 ring & hang up as all above said. Ofcom say by returning their calls you will be charged UP TO 13pmin landline 43p min mobile (plus setup fee) So dont bother returning their call. Probably just a recorded message anyway.
