Incoming call saying Hammersmith & Fulham Borough of 02087483020 So I looked it up as didn't answer it looks genuine but why would a London Borough for Housing phone me up when I live up North is beyond me. So for this am sorry to say it's a SCAM. Compared to the other 3 Comments left with Reviews

SCAM This number was the first of three (others were 0208 888 7676 and 01782 254545) which I received on 17th and 18th July 2023, telling me I had security problems with users accessing my computer files. I was told that I needed to open my event viewer logs so that they could help me to block the users etc. After playing dumb and stretching out the phone call - I eventually told them that I knew they were trying to scam me - which met with a tirade of abuse - especially from one female calling herse

Called today 21.07.23, Indian sounding call centre claimed they could save me 30% of my O2 bill, I am not with O2, and when I asked where they found my number they said it was from a generated call list. My phone has the function of bringing up the business name when a call comes through, so when I proceeded to tell the caller that the actual call seemed to be coming from Gibb & Evans, he became a little confused! Fraud Received a text message from this number claiming to be the USPS. Including a suspicious link.

I was out but hey left an automated message saying suspicious activity on my bank account, listing some of them. Then 'Press 1' to cancel these payments etc etc. Typical scam and definitely might catch some people out. I deleted the message.

Fraud SCAM Mobile phone call - but said was from Mastercard fraud, wanted me to press 1 to cancel a suspicious transaction on my credit card.

SCAM hung up when I answeted, have blocked the munber!

Cold called by this number: man said he understood I had a driveway. Asked what this was about & he said more that I did not understand & could not relate to. Told him this & said I was going to hang up. He said "have a nice day" & hung up.

SCAM said my sky internet had been compromised I asked how much do I need to pay the foreign voice said nothing he can sort if I can give him access to my computer. I asked him what my name and address was he said he knows I asked again what are they and he hung up.

Said calling from USA to people with BG/Centrica shares for a company who wants to buy the shares to give them a 51% stakehold in Centrica. Sounded very genuine but now think scam
