Defo a parking fine scam. I let the call ring to voicemail as I didn t know the number and the message left was a clever automated one that perhaps changes if someone picks up. The message started halfway into a sentence, saying " ...from 2012 so erm the total charge for the ticket including interest is £220, how would you like to pay . Then a silent gap, I assume timed for someone who answered to say something in response. Then him saying "if you don t pay by tomorrow would you like that to happen?" T

Have previously had about three missed calls from this number - just picked up the latest call and they informed me that I d had a car accident at some point since July 2010 - I have never had a car accident, thank goodness. I asked them where they got this information from - they said they purchased these details from a company and had got them as I had registered the accident but hadn t claimed anything. 22 Nov 2021 - Called claiming they were from Carphone Warehouse. Asked to speak to their manager and they said they were busy in a meeting and would remove me from their database. Definitely spam avoid at all costs. Reply

This company has called me every 3 hours for the last fortnight. I have told them that I do not want a quote for home insurance & have asked them to remove my number from their database. The calls however are continuing & will remain unanswered.
