Indian guy calling clearly routed through a Manchester number although illegal with tps. Usual bull about my accident not being my fault now and I can get cash back. Had a call today from a man claiming to be Windows who said that my computer had automatically informed him of a fault. Sensing this was a scam, I persisted in asking for a name (none was given apart from windows , and an explanation of what the error code was that he was claiming to get from my computer. The heading Royal Mail makes you think it’s genuine, asking for £2.99 outstanding postage or parcel will be returned to sender. A quick check on this website identifies this number as being from the Russian federation of Kaluga. Don’t be quick to give out your bank details, even if you think it’s genuine check first.
Someone called said something along the line of Pearl Helplines or something similar, I blocked the number it's the 4/5th time they've rang.
