I received a txt today supposedly from Santander with a code to gain £345. Scam! 1- I don't have an account with them. 2- Looked number up and supposedly it's based in the Russian Fed Region of Kemerovo. Hence blocked and reported!

01794399253 called my landline on Thursday 13 July and a recorded message advised me that money had been transferred from my account and to key 1 to sort it. 01794 is a Romsey UK number as is my number so I assumed it was local. I did not continue with the call. It was the same as other messages that I have received recently mentioned Amazon. How do scammers phone from local numbers?

Asian Man, with very strong Asian accent (could not understand a word). He sounded like reading from a scrip (slightly hurried pace and no pauses) Very most likely a scam.

Fraud SPAM SCAM Told that I am being called from Visa Security Department saying that there has been a fraudulent purchase made for around £900 from my amazon or ebay account and whether I want to stop this fraudulent payment when no such purchase has been made or is even pending from my bank account. Automated voice says this is a bank alert, there have been two charges on your card , it then gives the details of the ‘transactions’ one supposedly for £200+ on Amazon, the other a bank transfer for over £1000. Then asked to press one or two depending on whether you have made these payments or not.
