This company claims to be an Escrow service provider. IT IS NOT - check out the registration numbers with HMRC, FCA and Companies House. The “parent” has been dormant since 2019. Do a Whois lookup of the domain name - you will probably see that the website went live in the last few days / weeks
Answer phone and they just hang up they have done this several times now and it's very annoying.

Sadly this IS British gas I phoned them and they admitted that yes they do make presumptive appointments for smart meter installs with the onus on the customer to cancel them The appointment was also on my British Gas online account There is currently NO obligation to have smart meters installed Sadly you cant cancel the appointment online you have to phone them Ive not cancelled yet but put my details in an online complaint and instructed them to cancel it If need be Ill make the call before the appointmen

This was an automated call advising I had suspected fraud on my accounts. Gave 2 transactions and was asked to press 1 to accept 2 to decline. I put the phone down and called the bank. It wasn’t them! Please just put the phone down on this number and don’t press any buttons

it's now lunchtime and so far today I've had 6 dropped calls when answering. Annoying when you take off safety gear to answer! Although previous comment says Hellmann, I called them and said I was expecting a parcel from DHL. SCAM - somebody called to ask to speak to my husband regarding his business account with British Gas. When I asked them to contact my husband's business directly they stated that the only number they had (which is our home number). They gave me a reference number and asked if my husband could call them. It all sounded very plausible - please be aware.
