This is the negative balance team from Paypal (See https://www.paypal-community.com/t5/Subscriptions/Paying-an-outstanding-recurring-payment/td-p/1000315 as an example). This team will call Paypal customers if a payment on their account has been paid by paypal but not by the funding source, creating a negative balance. The account holder has 45 days to deal with the issue, before Paypal go to the funding source to ask for the money on a "Chargeback" basis. Legitimate caller if you have a paypal account

Rang, I didn t answer. Looked them up on the internet and found it was SM BPO Solutions, an office outsourcing company.

Claimed to be part of my car insurers and were not. Very convincing but purely trying to scam me.

Recorded message thanked me! for calling them. I cut off before I got to hear any more of their nonsense. I guess they want me to call back on their number to enquire about my non-existant call. To my knowledge, I have never had any dealings with Dennis Publishing

This number suddenly dialled itself from my phone while I was playing an online game. I was charged ?2.50 for the call. The number is not in my contacts and I did not have the keypad open at the time. I realised what was happening when a notification came up on my phone game page.

Had a call saying they are a University Survey company that reviews student uni experience, knew my full name and uni that I attended, went on for about 15 minutes asking to rate my experience out of 10 etc. Not sure if legit or scam, but even then dont know what they would do with the info I provided

So far this evening this number has called 3 times. No conversation at all. It has also called repeatedly over the past month again no conversation on pick up. Sick to death with it.!
