I've been contacted by 5 other similar numbers all starting with '020806843**', male voice said "hello, hellloooo" and then my name before hanging up. I'm blocking all the numbers but they're changing the last two digits. Harassing behaviour and more than likely some type of scam.

Another scam call from "The Advisors", trying to sell premium savings on life insurance. 'Paul' tells me their website is at theadvisors.co.uk - visiting that results in a rather empty webpage from the domain owner trying to sell the domain for £800. No proper website in place! It's the second call I've got from 'Paul' at The Advisors this week, I blocked his previous number, which was 07723553123. You can spot a pattern in these numbers, they're 0772355xxxx. Automated call claiming to be from Amazon concerning a potential fraud on my account, asked me to press 1 on my phone. Amazon do not have the number that was used, this was a scam attempt.
Had a phone call originally from 01363773849 (devon) saying our broadband had been infected. This was followed an hour later by a call from 01273303183 telling me that that my online banking had been infected and they needed to talk me through changes to my computer

Phoned to speak to my wife. Said there was a proublem with the account. Told him what a load of crap. Then phoned me back again to saythat her account is now blocked. Phoned k&co and there is nothing wrong. And they dont know who it was. Told the little t**t to f**k off. Be carfull about anawering security questions as they will use your account.
Missed call received.Called back and it was Appliances Direct regarding a freezer I bought.Confirmed order details with me and offered me the insurance at £3.99 a month.Very polite member of staff and extremely helpful.Completely safe number.

As a person who works in the It industry I can tell you that these people are not qualified to be "Microsoft certified technicians. They lack the knowledge and expertise. They are extremely persistent about these" hackers" and "viruses" when most of them probably don t exist in the first place. As the other guy said, play around with them. It s fun!

SCAM Called claims to be from BT and ask you to download Quick Support to test your connection. Once they get the 9 digit ID they can then see your screen They ask you to log into websites, copy the url to 'test' the connection. Luckily my pw auto logs in, so I didn't type it. Be wary as on the BT website it does say they wouldn't ask you to screen share
Put them in a dark room and shoot them for wasting our time and and spoiling my day
